How's nightlife in Toulon? Concerts/festivals/underground parties?

I got a job offer in Toulon. The job itself is pretty cool. But I went over there today, and the city seemed quite pedestrian. I saw few young people, and just, in general, it didn't seem like there's a whole lot to do over there. Is it true, or was it just my impression?

Hey Anton! Toulon is a city which is pretty calm in term of nightlife. You have a good club at La Garde called “809 social club” it is the best club is the area. Also you can find some bars and dynamic places in the Mourillon area, near from the beach. I think it is the most dynamic area for going out during the evening. If you have a car, you can also go to the area of Sanary (in the “Bonnegrace” beach area you also have pretty much to do). Happy to help you :)

Actually the best place for a drink and music listening is "Place de l'equerre"

Depend of the day. I live in Toulon since 2000. Nightlife in conter is little vite suite. But u have lot of or things To do when you know City. Wenesday To saturday lot of things. Place de l équerre. Théâtre roomcity. Bars: oldcoucou, less in bar à thym, la Degust, bar à Bières, Bieres du monde a la Valette, le Brew at Hyères. You can find so much on website "On va sortir " so go try!

Hi !! Yeah man, Toulon is pretty dead -_-' I heard a lot about "Bar à thym", there sometime little parties of reggae or electronic music I think. But If you like to go out, partying and all the nightlife thing, Toulon is diffinitly not the best place. By the way, there is also one cool place : le chat noir. It's a bar where you can play board games, What kind of music do you like ?

Ye, well, I'm in Antibes now, so it's not exactly London either, but at least there's a nice old town and Nice is not too far.

I'm not much into clubs, but I like to go to live gigs, and I like underground electronic parties. Also art festivals with performances and stuff.
