Language exchange English/French around Villeurbanne? Pref. One-2-one

Hello everyone, Hope you guys have amazing plans for the weekend. Is there anyone who is interested in language exchange English/French? Pref. One-2-one We can meet for a tea/beers for 1-2 hours, in a quite place and talk about a/any topic. I really want to improve my communication in French. Please ping me in person if you have time, may be we can meet tomorrow. Or if you don't need my help in English, I can buy a beer/tea for an hour.

Hi Anurag - www.conversationexchange.com is the perfect place to find people for this sort of thing. There is a very large community in Lyon and English speakers are in demand. For something different, there is also 'Franglish', which costs €13 (€10 for students) although you do get a "free" drink, and is in the format of speed dating, where you chat with half a dozen or more people for 15 minutes each, half in English, half in French. It can be a bit repetitive, but that's sometimes good if you're trying to get the basics mastered, and you can always meet up with the people you liked afterwards without having to pay Franglish every time. I go occasionally as it's quite good fun.
