Hey Piero,
Here is no exact "Ural mountain". Entire region is situated in Ural mountains. Here are plenty of sightseeings related to the mountains, but most of them can be reached only by car, or quite hard by public transport involving a lot of walking.
Hi, Piero I can tell you some ways. You can contact me in private chat
Hello! You can call Lev. His namber is +7 929 218 50 33. He can advace you something.
The Urals is a mountain chain going across Russia, not a single peak. To really explore mountains you do need a vehicle. Areas for hiking, more or less accessible by public transportation is Oleniy Ruchiy(Оленьи ручьи), Kamennye Palatky( Каменные палатки), or Chiortovo Gorodische (Чертово городище). Google this locations to find out if this is what you are interested in.
Hello! The easiest way to visit the Ural mountains in national parks. It can be reached by public transport, there are shelters for tourists, equipped routes, baths. I will list national parks in the Ural mountains: Bashkiria, Iremel, Zyuratkul, Taganay, Deer Streams, Chusovaya River, Bazhovskiye Places, Yugyd-Va.
Hey Piero, I highly recommend you Taganay or Zyuratkul, cause from all of the mentioned options they have most beautiful nature and it's relatively easy to get there. If you can spend a week try Yugyd-Va you will not be disappointed. I see you'll be in Ekaterinburg at the end of June and I'm actually planning to go to Taganay somewhere at this time, so maybe you can join me.
Hi!
Kamennye Palatky - it is rocks inside the city, look the bus and tram stations "Kamennye Palatky". Chiortovo Gorodische - the rocks near of the vill Iset (Исеть), to Iset you may arrives via the local train ("electropoezd", "elektrichka") "Ekaterinburg-Nizhnii Tagil", railroad station "Iset", or via bus from the city Verkhnyaa Pyshma. Oleniy Ruchiy- the nature park (like national park), to it has the buses "Ekaterinburg-Ufa", "Ekaterinburg-Arti" and touristic bus to this park (irregular route). But Oleniy Ruchiy isn't mountain area, this place biuty by landscape (the wood, the river, the small caves and the several rocks)
For the mountains I recommends a rocks "Rocks of Petr Gronsky" - 1.5 km (15-20 minutes on foot) from the railroad station "479 km" (~40 minutes from the city), from the station has markered track (with traces of car tires, offroad cars may traces here ).
You can easily reach to Chertovo Gorodishe mountaint. Go to North Railway Station in the city then buy ticket from Yekaterinburg to Nizniy Tagil and exit on Iset station (something like after 30-40 minutes from start) Ask locals in the train about Iset station and Chertovo Gorodishe mountains.
After getting off the train, pass 200 meters back along the railway tracks. Here you will see an automobile road leaving at a small angle to the right. Walk on it past industrial enterprises. Gradually, the road goes to the Zavodskaia Street. On it you need to go to the end, after which turn right on the street. The world (on it there are yellow two-storeyed houses). Meters 50 after this, after the house number 3 (in front of the grocery store) turn left. This road goes to the forest. After the forestry at the foot of the mountain there will be a fork. A well-groomed dirt road turns to the left, we need to go straight on the road to a long mountain. This is a direct path to the rocks we need. On it you need to go straight to the south, not turning around. All path could take about 30 minutes
