About
Hi everyone!
I’m Leul planning a backpacking trip to the historical and cultural city of Harar for the Shewal Festival 🇪🇹✨
📍 Departure: March 23,2026
🚆 Taking the night shift on the Ethio–Djibouti Railway to arrive early in the morning and explore the city from top to bottom.
🕗 Meeting time: 8:00 PM at Lebu Railway Station
This will be a backpacking-style trip — simple, flexible, and cultural.
The goal is to experience:
• The old walled city vibes
• Shewal festival celebrations
• Local food & street life
• Sunrise and sunset views
• Deep cultural moments
I’m open to walking everywhere, exploring hidden corners, and keeping it adventurous.
If any Couchsurfers or backpackers would like to join for this cultural journey, feel free to reach out!
Let’s explore Harar together 🌍🎒
