My life’s mission is to guide people from the mind into the heart, and I do this through meditation, energy work, and the essence of Tantra. For me, Tantra is not about sex – it is about energy, awareness, and connection with life itself. I give workshops on big festivals all over the world, doing online and offline coaching and help people where is possible. I just love the authentic souls ❤️🥰 I’ve spent years exploring the world, learning from different cultures and spiritual traditions, and I love to share these experiences. Alongside my spiritual path, I’ve worked many years in social care in the Netherlands, so connecting with people and supporting others is very natural for me. As a guest, I am respectful, tidy, and easy to have around. I enjoy cooking, exchanging stories, and creating a warm, open atmosphere. Hi! I'm Hanno, and together with my partner, Ilze, we're happiest when we're exploring somewhere we've never been before. Home is in South Africa, but my happy place is on a mountain trail, an ultramarathon course, or a road that disappears over the horizon. I'm an ultrarunner, running coach, photographer, and an incurable believer that life is meant to be experienced rather than observed. Ilze is my favourite travelling companion. While I'm usually the one scrambling up the next viewpoint, disappearing down another trail, or chasing sunrise with my camera, she's just as happy finding a beautiful café with a great cup of coffee, soaking up the atmosphere, and cheering me on when I return covered in dust with another story to tell. We balance each other perfectly—and somehow every adventure becomes better because we experience it together. We travel to collect stories, not souvenirs. For us, Couchsurfing isn't about finding a place to sleep—it's about meeting remarkable people. We love hearing how others see the world, sharing meals, discovering hidden local spots, swapping travel stories, or spending an evening laughing over good coffee and even better conversation. If you host us, don't be surprised if I ask about your favourite hiking trail or scenic run while Ilze asks where to find the best local coffee. We'd much rather experience your home through your eyes than through a guidebook. We believe kindness travels further than money, curiosity is more valuable than certainty, and the best adventures usually begin with someone saying, "Why not?" Life is short.
