Hi, I'm Jordan from Korea. Currently living in Seoul my own. Graduate school student majoring mechanical engineering. I try to be respectful, friendly and polite to others. I live in studio flat at Nakseongdae Station(낙성대역). I stay at my Lab until 6pm in weekdays and I am usually free in weekends. I hope I can meet foreign friends and share cultures of each other. I can give some advice for traveling in Korea too. If there is someone who are willing to meet me please don't hesitate for contact. P.s Found nice vedio clip introducing Seoul, search "Feel the Rhythm of Korea: SEOUL" in youtube or visit this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P1CnWI62Ik&ab_channel=ImagineyourKorea I may not check this app everyday, so if you need urgent help dm me on Instagram, jordanyun_cs (I was away from couchsurfing for a while, but I am back now!)
I traveled from France to Korea by car with my two brothers, shooting documentaries about traditional lifestyles If you want to have a look about our adventures, you can find our photos on: Instagram: @fromfrancetokoreaaa My brothers can organize shooting in Seoul if you want If you need any recommendations or advises don’t hesitate You can reach me out through @dji.yon on Instagram
ONLY ACCEPT FEMALE GUEST!!! CS is not for FREE accommodation and not a CHARITY so PLS bring a souvenir from your home town (even it's a post card or something tiny, that's the meaning of CULTURE exchange) CURRENT MISSION Climbing 🧗♀️ Skateboard🛹🛹🛹 Visit all of the Disney in the world! 🎡 It's Amy from Korea but was born and raised in China. I'm easy-going and open mind with most of the stuffs, HONEST and curious about a lot of things too. As my friends say I don’t really look easygoing cuz my serious face HAHAHA but don't worry, I'm just lazy to make emotional faces. A lot of people asked me why I change many countries to live in. The answer is want to travel like a local! Actually, my daily life and travel do not have that much differences. READING and EATING are a big part of my life. I don't ride bike I don't drink coffee I don't smoke I don't like working out I don't like things make me sweating I don't like talking to people that I'm not interested in (hate that fake and awkward feeling) I don't like Alcohol (but like to be with a bar with friends) YOU might think about why I travel and join Couchsurfing. BECAUSE there are still a lot of unbelievable things. Write Mike Wazowski at the begining of your message, means you read all of my profile. Can you imagine you meet up with someone in a new place and feel you have an old friend there? Reading books and listening to music on the coach or train. Try local food you might never seen or heard before. I like sharing my experiences and hearing your stories (especially love stories like many GOSSIP girls). Of course, if we have similar experiences would be more FUN!

"The real voyage of discovery consists, not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes" - Marcel Proust. Hi friends! I'm Minsik, a great hitchhiker. I've been traveling around the world since 2016. I visited so many beautiful places in this wonderful world. I made a conclusion that connecting people and being connected by people is the most precious value I could learn from traveling! That's why I started hitchhiking and couchsurfing. I spent lots of time on roads to meet new people and share time and stories. I meet people, talk and share ideas, and keep writing about it. Since I decided to be a full-time traveler, I've been trying to keep this great work all the time. I want to meet you to see a new world from your perspective! https://www.instagram.com/greathitchhiker/ I'd love to host people who want to share their travel and life stories. Couchsurfing is all about it. If you agree with the idea, please send me a personalized message, which isn't just copy and paste. Then you'll get a chance to meet a great hitchhiker!
Moved back to Korea from Georgia ☺️🚌 and again, back to travel mode (to Japan). I'm currently in Seoul. Hit me up 1) if you want to hang out or 2) check if I have a space for one extra person during your stay (because I travel often). One important thing before a Couch request: Please read carefully "my freelance shelter page" of Accepting Guest Section to check my host conditions thoroughly and request accordingly. I have my own YouTube channel, traveling around the world. MY CHANNEL NAME @joonimism
Couchsurfers are my guests at my place, so I am trying to offer and share some experiences with them. But unfortunately some people need just a room without communicating. Since I travel mostly Europe and The US for my work, I'd like to spend some time with my Couchsurfer guests while I am in their cities as well. If you want, I am happy to host you and trying to make best experiences with me. :) 👋 Hello Fellow Travelers! Hi I’m a lifelong Seoulite and enthusiastic host! Interested in traveling, getting to know new people, showing Seoul and more. :) Also, I can show you around or coffee, lunch or dinner buddy! Let me know! :)
Hi, I'm Junseok — but please, just call me Jun! 🙂 I'm traveling the world with my partner Hyeokhee — or Kiki, as everyone loves to call her. She's one of the loveliest, most bubbly people you'll ever meet, and honestly, she makes every moment of this trip brighter. Australia is where our journey begins. We both did our Working Holiday here years ago, and ever since, we've missed so much about this place — the lifestyle, the openness, the incredible people. So when we decided to start our world travel together, coming back to Australia was the only choice that made sense. We're not just passing through — we're here to reconnect with a place we love and meet even more amazing people along the way. I'm a Korean traveler with a big dream: to meet people and experience real life in every corner of the world. Not just visiting places, but truly living them. I've been lucky enough to call Turkey, Australia, and Latin America home for 3 years, and spent another 6 months traveling through Southeast Asia — and those experiences completely changed the way I see the world. Back in Korea, I studied architecture design and created the "Loving Korea Project" — a personal mission to discover Korea's hidden gems and share them with friends around the world. These days, I work in interior design, creating spaces full of energy and life. I've also been running a top-rated Airbnb experience as a Seoul tour guide, so I know how to make people feel welcome and show them something real. A little about me: 😌 Respectful — I genuinely embrace every lifestyle, culture, and belief 💬 Interactive — I love exchanging stories, ideas, and perspectives 🙌 Adventurous — Tell me what you love doing, and I'll join you! 😄 Optimistic — I bring good energy and a big smile everywhere I go ❤️ Sincere — I live honestly and from the heart I speak English fluently — well, maybe 99% these days, a little rusty but getting back there fast! What I love most about couchsurfing isn't just finding a place to stay — it's the real conversations that happen when two people from completely different worlds sit down together. I'd love to share stories about Korea's culture, hidden places, and the way Koreans really live — and hear everything about you and your world in return. Thank you for reading my stories. 🌏
## ABOUT ME Hi, I’m from South Korea and currently live near Gireum Station (Line 4) in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul* I currently work in the AI/tech industry, mainly focusing on international business and partnerships. Before that, I worked for international companies with backgrounds in Taiwan, the UK, and Singapore, so working and communicating with people from different cultures has been a big part of my life for quite a long time. Travel has always been an important part of my life. I’ve traveled to many countries including **Italy, France, Spain, the UK, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, China, and Taiwan**. I also lived in Taiwan for about a year*as an exchange student. I studied at Yuan Ze University in Taoyuan and I-Shou University in Kaohsiung, and Taiwan is still one of the places where I have many great memories. I speak native Korean and fluent English and Chinese so communication shouldn’t be a problem for most travelers. One of my biggest personal interests is Ashtanga Yoga. I really love Ashtanga and practiced Mysore-style Ashtanga for more than two years. If you’re also into yoga, I’d be very happy to talk about it or hear about your practice. I also really enjoy cooking, especially Western-style food. I like exchanging recipes, learning dishes from other countries, and cooking together. Sharing a meal is one of my favorite ways to get to know people. I love animals as well, especially dogs and cats, although I don’t currently have any pets. I’m generally calm, punctual, and easygoing. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds, hearing about how they live, and sharing perspectives about travel, culture, food, work, and everyday life. ## WHY I’M ON COUCHSURFING For me, Couchsurfing has never been only about finding a free place to stay. What I enjoy most is meeting people I probably would never have met otherwise. Traveling, living abroad, and working with people from different countries have given me many opportunities to see how differently people can think and live. Sometimes that means having a long conversation over coffee, sometimes exploring Seoul together, and sometimes simply cooking and sharing a meal at home. I’m also happy to help visitors experience Korea from a local perspective when I have time. You don’t necessarily need to have the same interests as me. Sometimes the most interesting conversations come from people with completely different backgrounds. ## HOSTING I currently live near Gireum Station on Seoul Subway Line 4, in Seongbuk-gu I mostly work from home so I’m usually at home during weekdays as well. This means hosting on weekdays is possible, but it depends on my work and family schedule at the time. Weekends are generally a little more flexible. Even when I’m working from home, I may be busy during working hours, so I might not always be able to spend much time together during the day. If our schedules work out, though, I’d be happy to have a meal, cook something together, grab a coffee, explore Seoul, or simply exchange travel stories. One important thing to know before staying with me is that I have an **18-month-old son** at home. He usually goes to sleep around **9 PM**, so we try to keep the house quiet after that. Please avoid loud conversations, music, or other noise late at night, as it may wake him up. He may also occasionally wake up or cry during the night, so if you are a very light sleeper or need complete silence, my home may not be the best fit. If you’re comfortable staying in a normal family home and respecting a quieter atmosphere in the evening, you’re very welcome. I love animals, especially dogs and cats, but **there are currently no pets in my home**. If you send me a request, please tell me a little about yourself, your travel plans, and why you’d like to stay with me. I appreciate personal requests much more than copied-and-pasted messages. ## MY PHILOSOPHY I tend to have a practical and realistic view of life, but I’m always interested in hearing perspectives that are different from my own. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy traveling and meeting people from other countries is that there are always things I can learn from experiences, cultures, and ways of thinking that I haven’t encountered before. I don’t think we have to agree on everything to have a good conversation. In fact, different backgrounds often make conversations much more interesting. Welcome to Korea and Seoul! PLEASE READ As i mentioned, currently i am working, so i seldom log in couch surfing, so i prefer to contact through kakaotok or email Kakaotok id: mcyic email: mcyic90@gmail.com
••Sorry, not hosting for a while•• Hi everyone! I’ve got so much love and hospitalities when I was a guest, and now trying to give them back as a host. What can I say about CS except love and hospitality? I am a professional barista, work 8am to 6pm and my weekend is Monday and Tuesday. We can have dinner together, go for a walk. Plus, I live with my fantastic soulmate, her name is Moss. And a cat, Jae-ri. Moss and I are easygoing, openminded and queer-friendly. We love to chill listening to various music, watch movie/anime, go for a walk(especially deep forest, looking for cool plants, birds and mushroom), talk about various topics and taking photo. Plus, I am super interested about different cultures in the world. Jae-ri is quite friendly, hope you are not allegic to cats! I can host maximum 3days. You can also DM me on instagram @mush.bird
