It's a cold hard fact that I will never visit everywhere that I would like to go in my lifetime. So I might as well do the next best thing and have the peoples of the world visit me. I love questioning people - finding out why things are the way they are. I love listening to people's experiences. I love an adventure. I love a surprise. I take pleasure in seeking out the very worst, most terrible parts of any destination.......only when I'm saying "This is awful" am I truly happy with a place.
I welcome guests regardless of gender, nationality or age. I'm also a neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ ally. Even if you've just joined Couchsurfing, don't be shy and message! I'd be happy to introduce you to CS! I love learning new languages and finding commonality with the ones I already know. When meeting people, I am interested in learning about their culture and I want us to do things together whenever possible. I work remotely so I'll be around to answer questions and help you plan whenever needed. Please ask lots of questions and share your plans with me, *do not* make assumptions about how things work/are, let's talk! I've been described as a rational extrovert, facts-oriented, reliable guy. I could talk all day about (good) habits, human biases, finance or just...life. It's been said I bring a sense of humour, good stories and cultural insights. I'm constantly striving to improve myself and the world around me. I strive to live a healthy life and to stay curious about all the ways we can be kinder to ourselves and to nature. My life is about learning, experiencing/experimenting and sharing, Living with happiness, peace and content. ❗❗❗ Important info:❗❗❗ I don't smoke anything I don't drink any alcohol I'm not a party person If you are, that's fine, you'd likely have a better experience staying with someone else though. I prefer nights in: conversations, board games, movies and laughter over a homemade meal. When I go out for leisure, it's usually on a nature trail, to a farmer's market, a nearby park or maybe another country altogether. Speaking of meals, I enjoy sharing food with you, in fact it's usual for me to eat together with guests. If you are happy for us to eat together, then I would therefore also expect you to contribute towards meals (whether you cook something you know well or just buy groceries). Also please let me know about any dietary restrictions. My best guests behave like members of the household, sharing responsibilities and planning to have a good time.
Please don't request to stay if you're not comfortable around curious young children. You're requesting to stay in their home, and at the very least I would expect you to answer any questions they have about where you are from etc. We have 3 young children and prefer to host families, but open to meeting up with anyone. Weekends are better for staying overnight but I can meet up in the week during the day. We are up early with the kids, and also go to bed early - so can't offer late night conversations or going out in the evening. But we enjoy walks, cafes and exploring new places - woods, seaside, parks etc. Everything has to be child friendly. I believe in the principles of permaculture and living within our means, financially and environmentally, and see this as a real alternative to the current collective mindset, which is currently unsustainable.
ABOUT ME Hello everyone 😊 I love to travel, like everyone who is on Couchsurfing ;-) and love meeting interesting people all over the world. I like the idea of having friends from different cultures and in various countries. I currently live in Cologne, but I've moved around quite a bit. I work as a screenwriter and sometimes as a production assistant, so I am very passionate about film & tv. I try to travel whenever I can. I recently worked as a volunteer at a hostel in Bath (UK) which was very fun. I'm always curious to try new things, like different sports. I also love music, going to concerts, the outdoors and I love food. But who doesn't :-).

I'm originally from Brazil🇧🇷 I'm a person that loves travelling, I like to meet people; learning about different cultures and respect different opinions. In 2006 I moved to Portugal🇵🇹 because part of my siblings were living there. In 2014 I wanted to move back to Brazil to study my graduation 🎓 in Foreign Trade🌎. In 2019 I decided to move to the UK🇬🇧 to work and to improve my English level and since that I have enjoyed working here. ------ Sou uma pessoa que ama viajar, sou aberto a conhecer novas pessoas. Eu gosto muito de aprender sobre outras culturas e sempre respeito as mais diferentes formas de pensar de cada pessoa. My website: www.eurobraziltrading.com.br

Hi there, I'll keep it brief here, as I think it's much more fun to talk about these things in person. My name is Jasper and I've been on couchsurfing since 2012. Since then I've gone to many meets and hosted many people and in the process met some of my best friends and learned a lot about the world. My job takes me to a different country every couple of years and being part of an international community such as this one makes that even more enjoyable. I currently live in the city centre of Leeds. PHILOSOPHY pensare con il cuore e amare con la testa
I'm Ben, a young man from the UK, who in recent times has gone full time digital nomad through online fitness and content creation. I've spent the last 20 years as a videographer but in recent times my videography shifted from making videos for other people to making fast paced story telling content about my travels.
