CURRENT MISSION To fulfill my potential in every sense of the word and help others fulfill theirs. ABOUT ME I am a 31 years old lecturer in a university in Belfast, United Kingdom, in the field of management. I am very keen on traveling; I am interested in other cultures and in meeting new people. I think there is something to learn from each person. My motto is: Go to at least one new place every year! PHILOSOPHY It's better to regret things you did than things you haven't done. Hey! I’m Terry 👋🏽 I’m based in Belfast and I’m happiest when life involves good people, good food, being outdoors and learning something new. I’ve lived a fairly colourful life across different countries and cultures, and I love meeting people whose lives look completely different from mine. I’m naturally curious and can happily chat about food, travel, culture, spirituality, growing things, building things — or absolutely nothing important over a cup of tea. 😄 These days you’ll often find me gardening, doing yoga, hiking, cycling, cooking up a feast, playing the bodhrán, fixing/building something, or disappearing into a sauna. I’m a dad, so family is a big part of my world. When I’m travelling, though, I really enjoy getting beyond the tourist version of a place — wandering neighbourhoods, finding local food, meeting people and seeing how everyday life actually feels there. As a guest, I’m easy-going, tidy and respectful of people’s homes and boundaries. I’m very happy doing my own thing, but equally happy sharing a meal, helping cook, getting my hands dirty in a garden or heading out on an adventure. If you’re staying with me or showing me your corner of the world, you don’t need to entertain me. Genuine company and a little cultural exchange are plenty. And if there’s a kitchen involved, there’s a reasonable chance I’ll offer to cook. 🌱🥘
