I love to travel

I grew up here in Amarillo Texas. After High School, I joined the US Air Force and served 7 years in Mississippi and Alaska. After separating from the USAF, I stayed and lived in Alaska for 25 years. While in AK I started and ran a business in Medical Device Sales. Alaska provided lots of adventures and stories. When I deciding to move back to Texas, I first took several years and traveled. During that time I walked the El Camino Pilgrimage with my then 25 year old daughter. We walked 150 miles / 240 km from Porto Portugal to Santiago Spain. After Spain I traveled solo in Europe, Russia and China and Couchsurfing was a great support and experience. Now I'd like to give back by hosting other world travelers. I look forward to meeting you.

CURRENT MISSION To meet or host interesting people from around the world. ABOUT ME I'm a former infantry soldier on the front lines defending America's faith and honor or what's left of it. I'm currently working as an ICU nurse for Thomas Creek Amarillo Veterans Hospital. PHILOSOPHY I believe in One God. I love all His creatures except spiders and snakes they really pull my man card with the QUICKNESS. Oh and I really like beer like alot.

CURRENT MISSION Making new friends in this lifetime. To share my love of cycling and motorcycling with those interested. ABOUT ME I'm learning to step outside my comfort zone which is scary and exhilarating at the same time. The past year I actually went out on my own vacationing and cycling.

I am an avid traveler that is interested in meeting new people. I have a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom townhouse. Guests will have access to a queen size bed and bathroom with clean towels and bedding. I ride my electric bike to the middle school where I teach everyday. I live alone with my 2 year old black lab dog Maggie. I currently am learning Spanish and spent 3 weeks last summer in Mexico at an immersion school. I would love to practice my skills with a native Spanish speaker.
