Namaste 🙏 I’m Deep from Nepal, currently studying Masters in Tourism in South Korea. I’m a curious traveler who loves experiencing cultures in a real way — not just sightseeing, but meeting people and understanding how they live. I usually travel on a budget and stay in hostels, but what I enjoy most is genuine connection. I like meaningful conversations, nature, hiking, local food (gluten-free), and learning from different perspectives. I always travel with my small camera because I love capturing small, authentic moments. I’m respectful, clean, and independent. I don’t expect anything special — just good energy and cultural exchange.
I live in Sokcho with my wife and our 6-year-old daughter. At the moment, I'm more interested in language exchange and introducing visitors to the local area than in hosting. I'd be happy to meet for dinner, grab a beer, or show you around Sokcho and the surrounding area on weekends. Families with children are especially welcome — my 6-year-old daughter loves meeting new friends. Hosting is not completely out of the question, but due to our family situation and other practical considerations, it would probably be difficult. I sometimes miss email notifications, so if you'd like a quicker response, feel free to contact me at (+82) 10-5267-3641. ~~~~~~~Old Profile~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CURRENT MISSION Spreading Love ABOUT ME I'm Kikle. i need a girl friend...... PHILOSOPHY i don't have something like philosophy. I just love alcohol.
I've lived with curiosity on love, music, and complex systems. From when I was young, I played the piano, violin, and guitar. I played electrical guitar during my university period, joined a choir, and many volunteering activities related to education, which includes visiting a regional school and helping them to succeed in preparing the university entrance exam. I was raised in a rather monotonous but common family in Korea where studying is more valued. Because of that I might have some traits like talking less, listening more which is not always perfect for some scenes but I tried from my 20s to break the egg and try to socialise with many different people in university who are from different regions, and also with people around the world by visiting different countries. This includes an one month summer semester in Beijing university, and 8 month exchange semester in Munich where I could experience so many different European countries, though it was when the corona started, it was a bit harder to cross the border. During this experience, music has been one of the biggest things that connected me to others. I played the piano whenever I saw one in Hotel Mozart in Brussels, Marseille Central Station, Nice, and even in many places in Korea. Moreover I've been keen on dancing for long and practicing a lot on different styles. This will be my longest-lasting hobby, I assume. But I'm not obsessed with music. I also love eating, visiting places I've never been, drinking beer, watching movies, etc. My interest in the computer system lasted until when I chose my major, which made me a software engineer. Thanks to the current needs of new IT systems, I could participate in a company that allows a flexible work environment. I start and end work as I want, and I can work from home in a foreign place. I've already visited Japan for three months for this reason, and I am eager to visit other unknown places for me and meet many interesting people. I'm rather new to this society but I'm sure that it will be great!
No bio yet, probably off exploring

Hi guys this is Gina and I am finally back to be a couchsurfing host! I studied to be a scientist, and now I got short time off to host people who travel sokcho. I live with my parents during time off, so the key to come back was same time off period. My parents are teachers (both of them kk) so this period is during their school vacation time. Well, about me more, I am 25, woman, study bioscience, and want to become a medical scientist. Love to invite lots of friend to home, and also my parents do! I can provide clean and cozy cabin which you can stay in. (I can pick you up and give ride to cabin if you are in Sokcho). But because of my parents and my schedules matter, food is not so much available. You can cook in cabin and everything about cookware is provided (just need clean up afterward) But i really recommend you to try Sokcho's restuarants because Sokcho's foods are particulary famous! Hope to see you soon and let me know if you got chance come to Sokcho! also if you have any question, let me know by email. hongjy7pc@hanmail.net MOST IMPORTANT Staying is available from October 1st to 8th. Hi! My name is Song-E. Many friends pronounce it 'Sony' or 'Sooni', but it doesn't matter. You can call me 'Sunny' or ‘Summer’ as well. Because I love summer and sunny days! 🚫🚫🚫I DO NOT ALLOW any sexual access or contact. 🚫🚫🚫 If you are hosting someone for a purpose, PLEASE PASS ME. Thank you!☺️ My instargram is @yeddoworld And my youtube channel is https://youtube.com/@yeddoworld
Hi! I am Eojin(I also go by Mikaela, if it’s hard to pronounce) and I am a full-time translator who specializes in media localization. I studied Illustration in university, however, am currently on leave and am enjoying the wonders of linguistics instead. As you can guess from the prior text, my passion lies in the arts; art, music, literature, cinema, games, architecture, fashion... the list goes on and on. The italian phrase "Viva dolce" is pretty much my mantra, and I live to find and treasure the beauty in everything surrounding me. I am mostly quiet but attentive, enjoy being somewhere secluded or close to nature, and am deeply in love with animals. (Trust me, I bawl at almost every animal I come across.) I value courtesy, open-mindedness, and like to keep things simple and natural. Although I am used to what people call the "loner lifestyle", I enjoy deep conversations and spending quality time with people. Meeting, getting to know others and the world they live in are part of my strongest inspirations! For hobbies, I enjoy long walks, longboarding, short runs, playing-or trying to learn-chess, playing the piano or bass, singing, binging standup comedy or unsettling movies(yes), and cooking. I do not smoke but vape outside(only) occasionally. I am an omnivore on a keto diet, however am comfortable and flexible with other diets as well. (I have tried and enjoyed most lifestyles from vegan to carnivore, but am omnivore by default because it suits my nutritional needs best.) I work from home and am quite obsessed with my job, so going out during daytime isn't really ideal for me during weekdays. (Can't help it, translating is not only nerdy and fun, but it also pays my bills :P) However, I do like to spoil myself with some occasional fancy drinks and love dressing up during weekends. Although I don't drink a lot anymore due to health reasons, I'm happy to go barhopping or chill in nice places with whiskey/cognac/wine/sake/cocktail lovers :) (I don't drink soju much, sorry!) For the non-drinkers, we can go anywhere from nearby parks, beaches, cinemas, cafes, restaurants, or just get comfy at home! *If we're both around Seoul, I can be your bar guide around Mapo district. I know most of the (quiet and a bit pricey) bars around the area. **I hate (it's a strong word, yes) drinking irresponsibly and don't enjoy nightlife much. Party animals won't be a good fit with me. Anything else you’d like to know about me, ask away!
CURRENT MISSION To live, learn, and enjoy this little period of time i have on earth. ABOUT ME I got a bachelors degree and made my way to asia, not a bad life so far.
CURRENT MISSION Work my way up the corporate ladder to 'Supreme Chancellor of Gypsy Vagabonders'. Rule World. Not necessarily this one, but A World. ABOUT ME Well I've been living abroad in one spot or another for...geez like 7 years now. My partner Taz and I met up 6 years ago and we've been bashing around the Pacific looking for a place to set up shop for a while. Warm beaches to dive in and excellent mountains to hike are my favorite spots to be. We're both experienced couchsurfers, and have enjoyed a solid 99.99% of the folks we've met through here. PHILOSOPHY I don't give any governing body or person the authority to tell me what I can or can't do. Who is to say they know better than I do? Morality and Ethics are social constructs that are amorphous over time. Standing on a cloud of judgment and decreeing what one person does is correct, while another's actions are incorrect or illegal is a presumption I'll not entertain as justified. However I'm enough of a realist to grant them the right of the Gun, there are things they can force us to do, and consequences we can be forced to face. For the most part this doesn't effect me, I'm not exactly Caligula and I have my own ideas on Right and Wrong, but you won't find me in the voting lines.
