I'm an artist/video gamer/boardgamer A self proclaimed foodie. I love meeting new people, enjoying the simplicities in life and traveling to new places to explore. I believe in trying everything at least once in my life to experience everything life has to offer and consider myself a pretty open minded person. My art can be found on www.instagram.com/michymichellebelle GOAL: 3 Countries minimum a year and meet the awesome people residing there :-)..learning their cultures and getting intertwined with their worlds. ***FOR THOSE LOOKING TO BE HOSTED!** We are accepting guests!! I have a spare bedroom and a couch, and a back house with a futon and a convertible bed depending on the timing of the request. There is quite a bit of space. Sometimes there might be other surfers staying as well. It's not uncommon especially in summertime. The more the merrier! I try to approve 90% of my requests unless I'm out of town! I unfortunately only have time to show you around on the weekends. Disclaimer: This is not Airbnb, this is not a 5 star hotel, this is my home that I'm opening up to you. I try to cook nearly every night and always will invite you for a meal. If you like to board game or play video games, even better...we'll sit down for some gaming ๐Ÿ˜‰. This is a home where you'll find random laughter and positive vibes and hopefully have a memorable experience!

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm a real estate investor, and lifelong Southern California local. My work keeps me busy, but whenever I have the opportunity, I enjoy meeting travelers from around the world and hearing about their adventures. One of the things I enjoy most about Couchsurfing is the conversations. Some of my favorite memories have simply been sitting around after a long day, swapping travel stories, learning about different cultures, and hearing perspectives I'd never experience otherwise. I've been fortunate to host travelers from more than a dozen countries, and it's been amazing watching complete strangers become friends. Many have even welcomed me to visit them if I'm ever in their part of the world. When I'm not working you'll usually find me walking my two German Shepherds, hiking, exploring the coast, or planning my next trip. I also enjoy photography, history, trying new restaurants, and anything that gets me outdoors. I speak English and I'm slowly learning Spanish.

I prefer staying in austere conditions than nice hotels or resorts. Big part of it is because I have a passion for disaster relief. Iโ€™ve created enough of my own disasters in life, so it is now time to give back. I have volunteered and worked for several agencies that allow me to deploy to places I would never think about going. Iโ€™m a lifelong learner (literally). Have been in school my entire life and still am in school (as a professor and student). I believe I can learn from anyone I meet, especially couchsurfer and hosts. Instagram: @miscelaineouse
