Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I love both hosting and surfing for the joy of meeting new people. When surfing I enjoy seeing a place thru the loving eyes of the residents. When hosting I relish showing visitor the places I know and seeing it all afresh thru their eyes. It's like rediscovering the place I live and love. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I surfed for the first time in Honduras in 2009 and since then have loved my experiences through couch surfing.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
turtles hatching in Mexico on a beach in the moonlight. tarantula crawling up my arm in Honduras. hitchhiking through torrential rain. sleeping in the netting between catamarand hulls in Thailand and seeing phosphorescence below me and a huge sky of stars above me.
