I try to enjoy life as it is and to have a positive impact on the world and people around me. About my trip: Before finishing my degree in environmental studies I am making my way to Japan, where I will travel around a bit before taking the train from Vladivostok to Stuttgart (Germany) with several stops along the way! I have never been to Japan and I have been to Russia before for a semester abroad in St. Petersburg, but never got further east than Moscow, so I am extremely excited about this special journey!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I love getting to know other people! I believe that exchanging different viewpoints and opinions and listening to each other is a great way to broaden your own perspectives.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I am regularly volunteering as a caretaker on trips for people with special needs. During this work I have met very unique people and experienced great moments of pure and honest emotions and joy. I think this is quite special to me.

My Interests
I often wonder if and how we can limit climate change and safe our beautiful home. so I am very interested in learning about different ways local communities deal with environmental problems and about different approaches to a sustainable lifestyle. I also enjoy being outside, hiking, swimming in lakes and experiencing nature. Besides that I love singing (which doesn't mean that I am particularly good at it!) and I am always up for sharing some songs - may it be in a tiny kitchen where someone is playing the guitar or in a pumping karaoke bar!
