Hi! I’m Cynthia from Ecuador 🇪🇨. I’m a curious, friendly, and adventurous person who genuinely enjoys meeting people from different cultures and learning from their experiences. I believe that every person has a unique story to tell, and some of the best life lessons come from meaningful conversations and shared experiences. My professional background is quite diverse. Throughout my career, I have worked in business management, customer service, hospitality, tourism, consulting, logistics, and more recently in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. I enjoy combining analytical thinking with creativity and I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge myself. One thing that truly defines me is my passion for experiencing life in different ways. I love stepping outside my comfort zone, trying new activities, exploring hidden local gems, learning new skills, and connecting with people whose perspectives are different from my own. For me, traveling is not just about seeing places—it’s about collecting experiences, stories, and meaningful human connections. I also have a strong interest in health, sports, personal development, and spiritual growth. I enjoy staying active, whether through sports, outdoor activities, dancing, or simply finding new ways to challenge myself physically and mentally. At the same time, I’m passionate about self-discovery, mindfulness, and understanding how we can grow into better versions of ourselves. I enjoy conversations that go beyond small talk and explore ideas, life experiences, personal growth, entrepreneurship, technology, and different ways of seeing the world. Having lived, worked, and traveled internationally, I’ve learned to appreciate diversity, adaptability, and the richness that comes from connecting with people from different backgrounds. Whether it’s sharing a meal, exploring a city, discussing business ideas, going for a walk, attending a cultural event, or simply having a coffee and a good conversation, I genuinely enjoy authentic connections. I’m naturally optimistic, open-minded, and always excited to learn something new. I joined Couchsurfing because I believe the most memorable part of traveling isn’t the places we visit—it’s the people we meet along the way. I’m here to share experiences, learn from others, and build genuine friendships around the world. Looking forward to meeting you! 😊

The place I traveled to that changed me the most was...
The place that changed me the most was Myanmar 🇲🇲. Of course, the country is incredibly beautiful, but what impacted me the most was its people and their way of seeing life. I was amazed by the importance they place on spiritual development, mindfulness, and inner growth. The level of dedication, conviction, and respect they have for Buddhism is something I had never experienced anywhere else. What made Myanmar truly special for me wasn’t only its temples or landscapes, but the mindset of the people. Despite having fewer material resources than many other countries, I met some of the kindest, warmest, and most genuine people I’ve ever encountered. They were curious, welcoming, and seemed to find happiness in simple things. The experience made me reflect on my own priorities and reminded me that success is not only about achievements, but also about inner peace, purpose, and the way we connect with others. Myanmar gave me a completely different perspective on life, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe the most memorable part of traveling isn’t the places we visit, it’s the people we meet along the way. I love discovering different cultures, hearing unique stories, sharing experiences, and seeing the world through other people’s perspectives. Some of my favorite travel memories come from spontaneous conversations, local insights, and connections that would never happen through traditional tourism. For me, Couchsurfing is about genuine human connection, cultural exchange, friendship, and creating experiences that make us grow. Feel free to connect with me on Instagram: @cynthiabrionesv I genuinely enjoy meeting people from around the world and building friendships that go beyond a single trip. Life has taken me through many countries, industries, and experiences, and I’m always excited to learn from the next person I meet. Who knows? Maybe our paths will cross somewhere around the world. 😊🌎✨
Music, Movies, and Books
🎵 Music Music is a huge part of my life. I love dancing and enjoy many different genres, especially Latin music, Country, Pop, R&B, Chill, acoustic music, and anything that creates a good atmosphere. My playlists can easily switch from a Latin dance party to relaxing sunset vibes. 🎬 Movies I enjoy movies based on true stories, biographies, inspiring journeys, dramas, and films that leave you thinking afterward. Some classics I love are Titanic and The Pianist. 📚 Books I enjoy reading about spirituality, personal development, psychology, entrepreneurship, mindset, and self-discovery. I’m also fascinated by real-life stories, memoirs, and books that offer a deeper understanding of different cultures, societies, and ways of thinking.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of the most life-changing experiences I’ve had was spending an exchange year in Canada. It completely transformed my perspective on life and introduced me to different cultures, ways of thinking, and possibilities that I had never imagined before. That experience sparked my passion for travel, cultural exchange, and personal growth. It taught me independence, adaptability, and the value of stepping outside my comfort zone. Looking back, it was the beginning of a journey that continues today as I keep exploring the world and learning from the people I meet along the way.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe every person has something valuable to teach and something new to learn. I can share my experiences in business, entrepreneurship, logistics, travel, Ecuadorian culture, Data Science, AI, personal development, and the lessons I’ve learned from living and working in different environments. I love learning about local cultures, traditions, life philosophies, travel stories, and the experiences that have shaped people’s lives. For me, Couchsurfing is about much more than accommodation, it’s about cultural exchange, meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and friendships that can last long after the trip is over.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I love creating meaningful connections and sharing experiences rather than simply being a traveler passing through. My professional journey has taken me through business management, tourism, hospitality, logistics, consulting, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence, so I enjoy conversations about a wide range of topics, from entrepreneurship and technology to personal growth, travel, culture, and life experiences. Although I currently spend much of my time abroad, Ecuador will always be my home. I love sharing recommendations about my country, its culture, traditions, food, and hidden gems that many tourists never discover. If you’re planning a trip there, I’d be happy to share tips and local insights to help you experience Ecuador beyond the typical guidebooks. Most importantly, I can offer positive energy, curiosity, respect, great conversations, and a genuine interest in learning from the people I meet. Some of the best travel experiences come from authentic human connections, and that’s what I enjoy most.
