Hi, I’m Ichi from Japan. I’m planning to visit Vancouver for about one week from July 8. I’m looking forward to meeting local people, learning about everyday life in Vancouver, and enjoying cultural exchange. I have experience using other free accommodation and hospitality exchange websites, so I’m used to staying in someone’s home and understand that it is based on trust and respect. I have lived independently since I was 23, so I can take care of general household chores and keep things clean. I’m tidy, respectful, and careful with other people’s space. I’m also a non-smoker. I enjoy cooking, and I’d be happy to make Japanese food if ingredients and Japanese seasonings are available. Some dishes I can cook are salmon sushi, teriyaki chicken, oyakodon, and udon noodles.
