I was born in a small town in Germany called Neunkirchen where I am living till now. When I finished school I took a gap year to make a voluntary service in India in an NGO called MYKAPS. Since then I discovered my passion for traveling, getting to know new people and especially exploring new cultures as the Indian culture is very different to the german one. Through my stay in India I became a more open minded and positive person. I really appreciate honest and long lasting friendships:) In my future life I want to explore many new countries such as Palestine ๐ต๐ธ /Israel ๐ฎ๐ฑ, Romania ๐ท๐ด, Morocco๐ฒ๐ฆ or the USA ๐บ๐ธ but I also have a bucket list of adventure sports like snorkeling, bungee jumping, or hiking.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing offers a great opportunity to not just travel new countries as a tourist, but to get to know locals. Every time I stayed with someone from couchsurfing I had interesting conversation and had an insight into the culture. Furthermore I always got help when I had questions and every experience was unique. This is not possible when you are just staying in a hotel. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the time I listen to pop punk and rock but I realy enjoy it to discover new bands or songs from other genres also. My favorite books and films are the Harry Potter series. If I am not listening to music I read Harry Potter. :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
When I was traveling in India it happened from time to time that my busses or trains got cancelled. One time I was very helpless because I had an appointment on the next day that I shouldnโt miss. The rickshaw driver who brought me to the bus station reacts immediately. First he tried to call the nearby travel agencies but as this did not work out he called some friends. His friends booked a seat in a bus for me and payed in advanced even if they didnโt know me at all. An equal situation happened to me on a railway station were a man booked a new ticket for me when the train got cancelled. After we talked he even invited me to his wedding. I am impressed with the experiences I made with the Indian hospitality!:)

My Interests
I am highly interested in every kind of sports. My favorite one is gymnastics that I practice a lot. Besides of that I practice some athletics and use every opportunity to play badminton, volleyball or to go out for a run. ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ Furthermore I listen to music all day long especially to pop punk and rock. Therefor I realy enjoy going to concerts and music festivals. :)
