I was born in Torremaggiore, a small town in a region called Puglia (Apulia), in Italy's southern "heel". The medieval king Fredrik II died and left plenty of magnificent castles there. Fredrik II was the first who seriously challenged the hegemony of the Catholic church on the Italian peninsula and among the firsts who attempted to unify Italy. 2016 I moved to Sweden for my erasmus in Falun (Dalarna) and since there I've been living in this aesthetically wonderfull (but a little bit odd) country. In Gothenburg, Sweden, I quitted my Ph.D. in Medieval Philosophy for studying at music school and trying to pursue a music career and now I moved to Stockholm. 2025 I have completed my studies for becoming an high school teacher in. The current subjects I'm certified in to teach are: history, philosophy, italian as second language and swedish for immigrants. In the near future I will (probably) add also german and religion. Since 2023 I have an extra job as tourist guide in Stockholm. IMPORTANT: From August 2026 I will move from Örebro (central Sweden) to GÄLLIVARE (a small town IN THE SWEDISH LAPPLAND, close to KIRUNA, 16 hours train northern than Stockholm). You, unknown potential couchsurfer user, are more than welcome to say hello to me up there :) I like history, philosophy, literature, old book stores and Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. I highly appreciate arts, music (folk, songwriters, and indie-rock), and literature, I play the guitar and sing my own songs (in Italian, English, and Swedish). I love to write. I've published two books so far (in Italian) and I'm now working on a novel set up in Sweden. I'm an easy-going and open-minded person and a language nerd. OBS. Im Moment bin ich besonders interessiert Deutsche-sprechende Leute zu hosten um mein Deutsch am Leben zu halten. Wenn du Deutsch-sprechend bist schreib bitte mir auf Deutsch.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Helping people is very important for the collective well-being. The most welcomed people are those who see no borders on Earth and who really love to travel with no prejudices :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
- I have hitchhiked all the way to Northern Sweden, slept in a tent along the way and met "on the road" Ingmar Bergman's nephew.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to play the guitar, I can teach you SWEDISH or ITALIAN or a bit of Latin. I can help you to trace etymologies of European languages back to Latin and Greek roots. I can teach you how to HITCHHIKE. I can share philosophical thoughts about who we are, where we are going to and how we could improve the world.
What I Can Share With Hosts
An inflatable bed, toilette with warm water and shower, breakfast and pleasant conversations about everything. (optional): Live music :D.
