I grew up listening to my parents tell stories of their travels. I dreamed about traveling to those far-off places described by my parents. As an adult, I try to live-up to my 8 year old's vision for me as a grown-up. So far, I am pretty sure my younger self would be pretty proud of me.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Sharing lodging and food is one of the most authentic ways to meet others. Airbnb was originally marketed as a way to meet locals, but we all know that that is no longer the case in a lot of settings. We want to be able to see the places we visit through the eyes of the locals and learn more about what it is really like to live there.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Comedy: Any book by David Sedaris Young Adult: Rohl Dahl Books Biographies! Music: 90's Hispanic rock: Soda Estereo, Heroes Cumbia for dancing! Classical music for slowing down.
