Renting RV in Smoky Mountains area- any insider tips?

I'm gearing up to hike ~5 days of Appalachian trail starting from GA Springer mountain, landing anywhere within or around the Smoky Mountain region. I'd like to rent something to sleep 1-2, budget-friendly, maybe around $700 for the month of October. Any suggestions are appreciated! Especially if you also know whether wifi would be a possibility. I read that the national park is totally disconnected to cell signal (assuming that means wifi too) which is GREAT, but ideally would still work remotely while in the area and could get hot spot. Thanks in advanced!

Hummm That's something best searched for on VRBO or AirBnB. I've seen some RV based options in the past. You could also post something on Craigslist or get on Harvesthosts.com and ask any of the 6 or so hosts if any of them has an RV they'd like to rent.

Thanks for the input Woody. Without too much research yet, Harvesthosts almost seems like a great resource once I can secure an RV. Sites like RVshare.com seem to be legit but pricey.
