Do I need to purchase a bus ticket in advance from Gothenburg to Malmo/Stockholm?

Will the price increase when the date gets closer? How many days/weeks in advance should I purchase the ticket?

As far as I know, the prices shouldn't vary that much. However, it could happen that the bus is fully booked. It depends on how flexible you are. The busses go quite often, so you should be able to get a seat even if you don't book in advance, but it might not be the most convenient time for you.

I drive for a bus company called Nettbuss and you MUST a ticket before. (Stockholm - Gbg - Oslo - Cph) We don't sell any tickets at the buses. Easiest via internet: www.nettbuss.se or they have machines outside the bigger terminals. If you travel on popular times it might be fully booked so recommended to buy in advance. The prices varies the closer to departure but not that much.

In my experience the competing e bus service www.swebus.se is a bit less comfortable , but also a little cheaper..
