Pack Creek Bear watching August? Charter trip makes it cheaper - let's go?! :)
Hi there, I'm visiting Juneau August 9-12 and really want to go see the bears at Pack Creek on Admiralty Island on August 12. I've discovered that it's possible to charter a small plane for 3-4 people and go privately for significantly cheaper than the tours which are $700-900 a day.

For 3 people, looking at a cost of about $270-300 per person, for 4 people $220-240 or so? Is there anyone that would like to go? I know it's not the cheapest activity but I figure it's once in a lifetime, and everyone raves about it.
