Hello all, I'm doing a hike from Marmelete to Aljezur (part of the Via Algarviana trail) if anyone else is interested in joining, feel free to connect with me. A few details:

• The hike takes about half a day : maybe 6 hours and mostly downhill.

• There seem to be some interesting points related to local strawberry brandy distillation and tasting in the region which might be worth exploring.

*My plan is to leave from Lagos early in the morning, take the bus to Monchique - do the boardwalk at Alferce for a couple of hours and stay the night at Marmelete at a very simple dormitory run by the local parish/government - pretty much the only option available.

*Next morning explore Marmelete for an hour or so and then start the hike. Its a very well marked trail apparently so there shouldn't be any problems.

• End in Aljezur that evening and spend the night there. Explore Aljezur the following morning and back to Lagos by the evening bus.
