Thanksgiving in MS? Should I come?

Hi, I'm Pierre, french traveler living in Dallas. I plan to to a small roadtrip in MS (especially Memphis, Clarksdale, Jackson) for Thanksgiving (from Wed to Sun.) and was wondering how I would be impact by the holiday. Including on Thursday but also the other days... What would be close or open, there will be less people in the bars etc...?

Hey. Come on. You're welcome to stay with me and go to my folks place for Thanksgiving. I honestly don't even know what the family has planned so we could just end up fishing or shooting some that day if nobody is doing anything. I just moved into a small house and have a couch in the living room or a futon/couch bed in my office. I'd also be up for going up to Cleveland MS and checking out the new Grammy museum. I also haven't been to the civil rights museum in Jackson yet so ill do t iv at too. PM me with your details.
