Hi, I'm visiting Newport with my fiancé during the Volvo Ocean Race stop over in May. It would be great to meet some sailing enthusiasts in the area! I would love to know some tips on where the cool spots are and where would be the best way to watch the in port race. Is there some hill top with a good view of the bay? Are there any sailors that would be willing to meet up? Is anyone looking for a crew to sail out to watch the Volvo 65s in action?
