Im coming on the 15th-29th, Is Boracay really as cool as people say? or are there other places with nightlife? I'm looking for recommendations for cheep adventures, nothing too touristy! Thanks!!

Boracay is incomparably beautiful but the whole island is closed starting on the 26th. For some chill island life you can opt to go to palawan, coron but it’s not a party beach. In Manila, Makati city is the best for cheap night life. Go to the place called Poblacion Area and it has great range of hole in the wall restaurants and bars. LubD hostel just opened, highly recommend that for accommodations

Depends what kind of nightlife you like.

If you need really techno trance now popular is cove manila. You can try Revel as well.

If you need chillout time. Theres bankbar, piny’s or abv makati. I usually go for those nice mixes and nice house music. Some of them are in place called bgc some in makati poblacion.

Hi Tage! Boracay will be closed for beach rehabilitation for 6 months. If you want to explore the beaches here in the Philippines, you can choose from the following places:

El Nido, Palawan
Coron, Palawan
Siargao (surf spot)
Cebu
Baler (surf spot)
La Union (surf spot)

If you're staying in Manila and want to experience the nightlife, go to the following:

Poblacion, Makati (Lots of hipster bars in the area)
BGC (high end bars )

if you are going to manila you can try Calaguas as cool adventure or around zambales for nightlife mostly around in Makati or BGC

Hi! It depends on where you plan to go. If in Metro Manila, the best district to party would be Makati City (Poblacion area, like in PURA VIDA Bar Resto with live music) As already mentioned, Boracay will be closed for 6 months. An island beach I strongly recommend that you visit is SIQUIJOR Island. It's Beautiful there, like Boracay, can be both a party and chill island beach for you, and it is not touristy, like other places. Check it out!

Siargao. It is both party, nature and paradise. There is a nightly party and live band with incredible D.J in different bars/resorts.
