Pure Macedonian Culture WANTED ;)

Zdravo Macedonia ;)

I am Alev, coming to your wonderful country next Friday (09. Sept) and spending 5 days.

Since i am planning to visit different regions of your country with a specific culture I would like to ask you the following questions:

Which is the city/village representing the Macedonian culture the most in your opinion?
Where can I see people wearing typical Macedonian Traditional dresses naturally (not in festivals etc.)? Which town/village?
Is it somehow possible to spend a night at a village house or anybody you know? I would really love to experience rural life in your country.
I personally am Turkish from Bulgaria. As far as I know there are many Macedonian Turks all over the country. Is there a specific region I can get in touch with them?

Would anybody volunteer to join my trip(s) during my stay? ;)

Not many people wearing traditional clothes any more. There are Yuruk Turks around Radovish and Shtip, you can try that area.

In the town of Veles there is a museum with traditional macedonian clothes.
Sorry, I have no idea, we all go away from the villages. :D
Macedonian Turks you can find everywhere. On pazar especially.

I would recomend Radozhda village near Struga city by the Ohrid Lake. Amazing people amazing village, and some of the old ladies are still wearing traditional clothes.

Besides its a fisherman's village, you can hear lots of fisherman stories and eat amazing fish there!

merhaba ben Makedonya uskupte yasıyorum bence en cok yansıtan yer burası yanı uskup. bir kac sehrine gittim ve görmeni tavsıye edebileceğim yerler : Ohrid,Struga,Sv.naum aslında görebileceğin en güzel kesim ve üsküpte matka kanyonu var. Traditional kıyafetler görebilceğin yer makedoncka celo uskup ierisinde bir uer vodno diye geçiyor. ve garsonlar falan oyle kıyafetlerle çalışıyor. vodno da aynı zamanda sehrin her tarafından görünen çok yüksek bir haç var oraya teleferikle çıkılıyor. güzeel bir gezin olsun iyi eğlenceler:)
