Hello guys!

My boyfriend and I are travelling around Oman and are currently in Sur. We would really love to see the turtles but we are not much keen on joining the turle tours in Ras al Jins. We do not want to contribute to harming the animal and disturbing their nest. We feel like we don´t want to support these tourist things that are just making money on making the turtles an attraction.

We wonder if there is any way we could watch the turtles without going on such organized tour? Can we watch the turtles somewhere from further away to avoid spoiling their haven? Or maybe anyone here who knows how to watch the animals without disturbing and would guide us there?
