Hitchhiking boat Indonesia/SEA -> Australia (reaching Australia without flying from Germany)

Hey my dear CS friends,

as my dream would be, to reach Australia without flying from Germany, I'm searching for any opportunity to get to this continent (without paying a fortune for a boat ride). As far I made about 21.000 km to Bangkok (7.000 km hitchhiking) in 4,5 months, so I'm sure, there are lots of stories to tell and it won't be boring. I've never really sailed, but of course I'm very motivated to give everything to be of great help on board.

I'll probably reach Indonesia in the end of March and my current plan is to go to Bali then, as I heard, it might be more likely there to get a ride on site, if I can't find anything online.

It would be awesome to reach Australia in the middle of May or earlier, but I'm also flexible to reach a few weeks later.

I'd be happy for every information to get closer to that dream.

Backpacker's trip in south-east Asia

Middle of October 2019 I plan to start an amazing Asia trip from Georgia to: Armenia, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam... maybe to Malaysia and Indonesia (Bali) as well... (aaand... NZ is my biggest dream...) it will take 2 or 3 months, maybe more, but it depends from us... at the moment I'm solo traveler, but I would glad to share the whole trip or even a part of it with interesting people.

Looking for family in Australia

Hi, I am Ting. We are a Taiwanese family and speak traditional Chinese. We will visit Australia this July. I have a 3 yr old girl and 7 yr old son. My son is learning English for one year. I hope we can meet some local family in Australia to share our culture and let our children to play or hang out together. If you are interested in Asia culture. Hang out with us or being our host or is the best way to know our difference and language. I will bring pineapple cake for our host. This is the most famous snack in Asia. Maybe I could cook some Chinese food for your family if there is a time. We could be your host too if you come to Taiwan .

It's our first time to visit Australia. We plan to visit SYD、ADL、MEL for 2 week. Especially we would like to go the outback in the north of Adelaide by campervan. This really makes me a little nervous. If you have any suggestion for us. Please feel free to chat with me. We can't wait to meet the wonderful people and natural scene in Australia.
