Dear Portuguese friends,

I am an Asian American teacher/university professor and professional pianist. I visited Portugal for the first time in August and September 2016.

During that trip, I found Portugal such a beautiful, culturally rich, clean, and well-organized country which cared a lot about tourists and Portuguese people very friendly, hospitable, warm, helpful, and sincere.

Therefore, I have decided that I will visit Portugal every summer in the next few years to really explore this amazing country, its interesting culture, and its wonderful people. I would like to "fall in love" with your magnificent country!

I plan to visit Portugal in August and probably September this summer. As I am starting to plan my second trip to Portugal, I am looking for new Portuguese friends who could give me advice and help in planning this trip.

+++I would prefer to communicate with you via text chat or voice chat on Skype because I use it every day. However, if you would prefer to exchange emails with me, it would be fine with me.

I would like to learn more about your marvelous country, rich culture, and wonderful people from you. It would be “a plus” if you would like to teach me some basic Portuguese expressions/words.

In exchange, I would be happy to share with you a lot of interesting information about the American and Vietnamese culture.

And if you would like me to help you improve your English skills and/or learn Vietnamese, I would be willing to do so.

I would love to have many Portuguese friends because I love your people's open-mindedness to foreign cultures/languages, friendliness, and warmth.

I am hoping to establish many solid and long term friendships with Portuguese people.
