Hi,

My name is Cecile and I'm looking for hosts in Paris from April 22nd (Friday) to April 25th in the morning.

I'll be there on a short vacation and for appointments in town and I'll be glad to meet new people, share cool conversations and maybe a walk around the city.

Treks around Lyon?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone please suggest me treks around Lyon which can be done in a day?

I don't have car, so should be reachable by train/bus, 1-2 hours from Lyon.
I was thinking to start early morning and prefer to come back by the evening.

What about Bollywood Evening?

Namaste Everyone,

Being a big fan of bollywood music, I miss having an evening with Bollywood music. So I thought to do something about. What do you guys think about setting up an evening where people can come with drinks/snacks and have a good time with Bollywood music. Normally I wanted to host it at my place, but it's just not big enough so if there is anyone who can (I understand it's bit too much to ask, but I think it's worth a shot), for may be 5-10 people, do let me know, I would be happy to take care of the rest.

Questions or any other ideas are welcome.

Looking for a host for a night for language exchange?

Salut à tous, I am looking for someone to host me for a night or 2.

I am learning French and it's the speaking which I am struggling with. So I thought to look for individuals, with whom I can speak with (1-2-1). For that, I decided to meet people by asking them to host me, so we can spend dedicated time to have a language exchange. Of course, in return, I would be happy to help that person in English (or in Hindi too :P) and teach/cook Indian cuisine, considering I love cooking, I am a good chef and I can cook really good local dish for you, authentic.

So basically, we can help each other in improving our language skills + spend an amazing time while cooking or with drinks. I am very nice, clean, sensible person, and a very good guest. Looking for people to play badminton?

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a fantastic start of this new year.

Is there any group or something which I can join to play badminton? I moved to Lyon few months back and would like to start again. I am not an expert but I used to play badminton when I was in India, and I think I am decent enough.

Looking for some forest treks around Lyon?

Salut Everyone,

Hope you are doing well, healthy and just fine, and welcoming this beautiful winter in Lyon, France.

Can anyone please suggest me forest treks around Lyon? I prefer -

Dark forest
I was injured lately, so I would choose something walking, neither really climbing nor too much change in levels but I can walk upto 10-15 km.
Something not too far, possible to finish in 4-5-6 hours (+2h maybe)
I don't have car, so can be reachable by local transport would be perfect.

These is just something I prefer, but I would be glad to know more and open for any suggestions. I am also learning French (knows Hindi/English), so if anyone is interested in exchange English/French, we can go trekking and do language or our knowledge exchange.
