The next Japanmarkt Köln takes place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the Stadthalle Köln-Mülheim with a special "Cherry Blossom Festival" theme. Visitors can explore a wide variety of Japanese design, traditional arts and crafts, and authentic food. The event features a diverse cultural program, including Samurai demonstrations, live music, and creative workshops like calligraphy or origami. The main highlights of the Japanmarkt include traditional Samurai martial arts demonstrations, energetic Taiko drumming concerts, and street food like Takoyaki and Ramen. Please note that tickets are exclusively available online in advance. Public Transport Lines Stadtbahn (Light Rail/Subway): Lines 4, 13, and 18 all stop at Wiener Platz. From Cologne Central Station (Hbf): Take Line 18 directly to Wiener Platz (approx. 14 minutes). S-Bahn & Regional Trains: Lines S6, S11, RE1, and RE5 stop at Köln-Mülheim Bahnhof. Bus: Lines 151, 152, 153, 159, 190, and 260 serve the Wiener Platz area.
