CURRENT MISSION save the world ABOUT ME thinkers, travellers, jokers, vegetarian mammals PHILOSOPHY we believe in causality
„I'm a big, big girl in a big, big world, it's not a big, big thing if...“ I can't: - go far away or near, - see, feel and try something new or familiar, - meet someone new or get to know someone better, - share who I am, - feel I'm alive. CURRENT MISSION Just keep walking! PHILOSOPHY Don't expect the expected, and expect the unexpected!
My name is Pinar, a 32 years old lawyer/yoga instructor currently living in Istanbul, Turkey. I’m a very curious individual who loves learning, good food, exploring different cuisines and cultures, good conversations, wine, photography, traveling, nature and animals. I’m solo traveling at the moment and looking to share culture and stories with others. ✌🏻
"Contentment is natural wealth, luxury is artificial poverty" - Socrates I'm left my flat and will be on the road for some months ABOUT ME In love with life. Trying to understand the deepest mysteries of this world, beginning with myself. I am Italian for many aspects, but I am not Italian for many others. I love traveling, discovering new places and meeting people. I am a friendly person who likes talking, some times even too much. I've got a MSc in electronic engineering, but I discovered shortly after my graduation that it was not for me. Luckily enough, but starting from zero, I had a quick career that allowed me to move from researcher in medical environment to consultant. With short term contracts, I could travel a lot, but that was not enough: I wanted to travel all the time... And finally I have managed to achieve that! My curiosity brought me to the psychotherapy and while practising (some CSers were my volunteering patients too) I developed a quick treatment methodology based on NLP theories. I am also a member of Hospitality Club (ID "apibiri"). Please quote "I've read it" on your request, so I'm sure that you are aware about my hosting offer PHILOSOPHY There is no way for happiness, happiness is the way. Learn as if you were to live forever, live as if you were to die tomorrow. Freedom begins where comfort zone ends. I am a member of Anandayana Project ( www.anandayana.org )

Moved from London to Guernsey, so the below doesn't apply anymore, will update it when I get a chance ----!! Please read before submitting a request for me to host you. On weekdays (Mon-Fri) you need to leave the flat by 6.30 as that's the time I need to leave for work!! ... however I may give you the spare set of keys if the circumstances warrant it ---- -- Second note -- As you may have seen by some of my references, I've been able to host 2 people, unfortunately I can no longer host 2 people due to limited space so please don't send me a request for 2 people as I'll have to decline you -- --- Third note -- I have no problem with long or short stays, whether you're staying for one night or weeks at a time, both are cool with me -- Not really sure how to fill this section out. I'm a tad shy at first with new people but I soon open up, I can be a bit reserved until you mention a certain video game or food that I would quite happily kill for ;) I'm tall (the first thing people notice about me xD) , which is definitely an advantage in London, seeing over the crowds has had it's uses. I enjoy my food and also at the same time I try and exercise regularly ... key word here is "try" or attempt... I'm new to couchsurfing, so with that I have no reference (hopefully this will soon change) , I'm happy to give you my facebook and Linkedin profile links so you can verify who I am :) I enjoy a variety of hobbies which include, mountain biking, martial arts, video games and volunteering to name a few

Hello! I'm Michael, a free-spirited maths teacher based in Nottingham. This is my eighth year living here, as before becoming a teacher I was a student here, so I know all the ins and outs of Nottingham! I've had great experiences on CS so far, visiting many different countries and meeting lots of amazing people! I'd like to give back to the community by hosting as I haven't done it as much as being hosted. If you're thinking of visiting Nottingham, do your research on where you would like to visit! I'd love to show people round my city as I think it is underrated, though I'm only willing to show people round if they are willing to be shown round. If you send me a request let me know what in Nottingham you would like to see. I don't accept requests if you haven't read my profile. I'm an outgoing person who loves meeting new people, hearing life-stories, learning about new things, getting into different hobbies, and up for trying new things out. I am a relatively easy-going guy, enjoying chilling out with a few drinks and getting to know someone just as much as I enjoy hitting up the clubs and bars in the city. When I'm not working I spend a lot of time playing guitar and socialising with friends. I enjoy talking about all the music I like and the gigs I've been to. Other from that I am also vegan, so it'd be great if I could chill with another vegan to cook up some meals with, or someone who is willing to try some great vegan food!
I have just recently moved back to the UK from the USA and have set myself up in the Nottingham Area after spending 2 years in Maryland, US and travelling all over the States!
I suffer from an incurable case of wanderlust and am always eager to explore more of this incredible world and its diverse people. I love fully immersing myself in the culture of the places I visit, whether it’s through food, traditions, or meaningful interactions with locals. For me, the best memories are made when I connect with others, share experiences, and learn from them. I’m passionate about gaining and sharing knowledge—so if you host me or spend time with me, please don’t hold back from sharing your stories and worldview! I truly value the exchange of ideas and believe it’s the key to fostering understanding and friendship across cultures. A quick note: Safety is important to me. While I love adventure and spontaneity, I also look for interactions with people who have shared some information about themselves on their profiles, are verified on the platform, and have a good track record of references. It helps me ensure that the amazing memories I aim to create are built on a foundation of trust. If I am surfing with you or hosting you I would like to have an initial chat and video call before confirming. 😊 Looking forward to meeting incredible people along this journey!

British guy, passionate about travel, adventure and making new connections. I’m laid-back, outgoing and enjoy socialising, meeting people from different backgrounds and learning from their experiences and interests. I’m ambitious with my career, but I’m equally keen to make time for the things that make life interesting — exploring new places, motorcycling, trying new experiences and creating good memories along the way.
