CURRENT MISSION/MISIÓN ACTUAL Ahora mismo estoy viajando por Sudamérica con mi camioneta para explorar la belleza natural y conocer a la gente y las culturas interesantes de este continente. SOBRE MÍ/ ABOUT ME “Muchas personas viven en circunstancias infelices y, sin embargo, no toman la iniciativa de cambiar su situación porque están condicionadas a una vida de seguridad, conformismo y conservadurismo, todo lo cual puede parecer que les da tranquilidad, pero en realidad nada es más peligroso para el espíritu aventurero de un hombre (o una mujer) que un futuro seguro. La esencia misma del espíritu vivo de un hombre es su pasión por la aventura. La alegría de la vida proviene de nuestros encuentros con nuevas experiencias y, por lo tanto, no hay mayor alegría que tener un horizonte en constante cambio, que cada día tenga un sol nuevo y diferente.” Intento vivir lo más posible en el momento, apreciar las conexiones con las personas y las culturas, aprender de las personas que me rodean, utilizar sus conocimientos para comprenderlas mejor a ellas y a sus motivaciones. Me encantan las buenas conversaciones y las personas que pueden cambiar mi percepción de las cosas o darme un nuevo punto de vista para verlas, o enseñarme cosas nuevas sobre cultura, historia, política, etc. Y ME ENCANTAN todo tipo de deportes. Viajar no es solo un pasatiempo para mí, sino un estado de ánimo. Me ha ayudado a comprender mucho mejor el mundo y a sus habitantes, y no deja de sorprenderme la diversidad de personas que he tenido la oportunidad de conocer. Por eso viajo tanto como puedo. Me gusta salir, tomarme una cerveza o dos, ir a conciertos en vivo, salir de fiesta con mucha gente diferente. Its not always easy, but its good to remind yourself that there is a lot to see and learn and that you are not the center of the world. I would consider myself open minded (but who doesnt on this website, lol)... I love good talks and people that can change my perception of things or give me a new angle to look at things or teach me new things about culture, history, politics etc... and i LOVE all sorts of sports. Traveling is not only a hobby for me, but a state of mind. It has helped me understand the world and its people much better and keeps amazing me with the diversity of people I have had the chance to meet. I therefore travel as much as possible. I'm pretty easy going, I like to chill and just look at things. At the same time I'm a driven person, I like to pack my days with interesting things and activities and I can never stay at one place too long. I want to see the whole damn planet. I like to go out, have a beer or two, go to live concerts, party with a lot of different people. PHILOSOPHY/FILOSOFÍA «La gente siempre habla de libertad. CURRENT MISSION Not to regret the things I’ve done, but those I didn’t do ABOUT ME I've been living in a metropolis for the most of my life, half of it spent either on sea or up in the mountains, doing sports like hiking, trekking or reading in the mountains; my way of staying connected with nature. As my age progressed, it became more difficult for me to be indifferent to all the damage we're causing to the environment while living in cities, performing our "duty" to consume and be another gear to the economic system. In search of an alternative way of living that is based on sharing and producing, I decided to quit my job; I want to look back at my life with pride, knowing I contributed to leaving the world a better place than I found it, instead of just watching mostly forward to my lunch hour, the unique moment when I allow a few of my passions to run free: I ride bicycle, hike montains, volunteer as a social worker and love stargazing! I am a hard worker, and willing to try almost anything. I like talking about everything and living every opportunity ceaselessly too. Astronomy and volunteering are my biggest passions. I've cared for animals, worked as a physics/math teacher, led Astronomy classes, taught English and Italian, led social media marketing, and worked in a Astronomical Observatory in Colombia; it's all been an incredible experience!
