CURRENT MISSION Current mission in life is to live life!!!! Go out and do things, experience the world and the people in it! ABOUT ME I am an easy going chilled out kind of guy. I am absolutely obsessed with riding bikes, working on bikes, and buying bikes! Love to be outdoors, love to do activities, mountain bikes, cyclo-cross, downhill, enduro, white water kayaking, hiking, camping, backpacking, bikepacking, mountaineering, rock climbing, frisbee golf, ultimate frisbee, running, swimming, fly-fishing, sitting on the beach. I enjoy the company of others. PHILOSOPHY I preach the church of I dont know! I really dont know what is going on here, why we are here, what we are doing. But I do know there is something bigger than I am. There is something that ties all things in this universe together, but its too big to fit in my head. I live very thankful for the things that I have, and I try very hard to be a good person. I live my life to interact with others, gain experiences, and to grow physically, mentally and spiritually.

My husband and I have been married for 25 years and have been blessed with 5 children. My husband has recently retired from the Water Department and is now doing his heart’s desire, teaching. We have decided that we are going to spend more time traveling as a family since my husband now has summers off. Our oldest, Jocelyn (25) is married and has given us our 1st grandbaby! What an absolute joy and blessing! Jacob (23) is a Cost Analyst for Betenbough Home Builders. Our three youngest boys are Nathanael (15), Silas (13) and Luke (9). I love to support all things local and when traveling I hope to learn all about the locals and the best local spots. I am a people person and absolutely love the idea of Couchsurfing! Being able to meet many different people from all over my country and the world is so amazing. I have been told I have the gift of hospitality and that I don't know a stranger. I have really been enjoying the wonderful world of Couchsurfing!

I was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in countryside West Texas (imagine going from a city of over 10 million to a small village of 500). I'm an PhD student at Texas Tech University (Lubbock-TX). As a grad student, I’m most of the time working on my research and writing papers. Whenever possible, I like getting away from the studies and getting to know new places and people.
