Hello fellow Couchsurfers, From May - Oct I am busy with a seasonal business selling local fruits and vegetables at farmers markets in southern Alberta, so in the summer months I only have time to take Couchsurfers that are interested in work exchange travelling around AB helping at the farmers markets and commercial kitchen making guacamole, salsas hummus and other dips. I do work exchange like WorkAway or HelpX, which is getting room and board for helping 20 hours/week. Minimum 2 weeks, but prefer travellers who can stay at least one month, ideally for the whole season May 15 -Oct 15, when my season ends. Please only send a request if you are interested in work exchange and can stay 1 month or more. In the winter I love to travel by motorcycle or backpacking. I'm active and like to downhill ski, play sports like basketball, futbol, volleyball and ice hockey. I like to rough camp, ATV, motorcycle, RV camp. I also enjoy cooking and philosophy.

I have been in food business for the last 23 years. Now I am settled in canada and Couchsurfing gave me a lot of life in sense of learning so much about world and different people from different cultures. Heading to Prague, Budapest, Vienna & a few towns in between. OLD.I love to travel. Heading Nepal and stopping in to Hong Kong. Africa— So amazing! Un real. Tanzania safari's. Rwanda gorilla trek and Cape Town. Went diving with the great whites. One trip I back packed for one year and visited 19 countries. Have been lucky to travel a lot more in between the big trips. I visited many countries many times. Yes, Las Vegas 16 times Haha so much fun. LA, Chicago, Phoenix, Palm Springs San Diego, NYC Many USA trips. Hawaii x 4 Love Maui and Oahu Cuba x 2 Mexico x 12 Been to Cancun and Cabo just for a weekend. Last minute trips. Thailand x 6 Japan When I was 19 I hitched hiked through the Mexican desert then went to Porto Escondido to surf. Last Sept. I went to Africa. Safari in Tanzania, Gorilla trekking in Rwanda, and Great white shark diving in SA. Just got back from Hawaii. Was great: had a great dive with some sharks. Saw a few whales. Heading to HK then Nepal this week and it’s my birthday . I like to volunteer. I teach Grade 9 students on life issues.
