I grew up in a small rural village in China. Life there was simple, but it also taught me to observe people and the world from a very early age. As a child, my greatest passion was reading. From mythology to novels, from history and geography to philosophy and love stories, I devoured anything that felt interesting. Books made me realize that the world was far bigger than the small place where I grew up. Inspired by the cultural influence of Hong Kong’s golden era, I left my hometown and moved to Guangzhou, where I lived and worked for four years. During that time I gradually started questioning what kind of life I truly wanted. Recently I decided to pause my stable job and give myself time to travel, write, reflect, and experience different cultures. I’m deeply interested in culture, religion, human behavior, and social change. For me, traveling is not only about seeing beautiful places, but about understanding how people in different parts of the world live, think, and face life.
