Hello, I’m Rogers, a humanitarian and nonprofit leader based in Jinja, Uganda. I run Empathy 4 Africa International, a community-based organization that has been supporting orphaned and vulnerable children for over six years. Our work centers on youth empowerment, education, gender equality, and providing children with the care and opportunity they need to build a brighter future. Over the years, I’ve hosted travellers, volunteers, and curious wanderers from around the world. I genuinely enjoy hosting, not just offering a bed, but creating a space for connection, culture, and meaningful exchange. Whether it’s sharing stories, meals, or ideas, there’s always something to learn from each other. My home is humble, clean, and peaceful, ideal if you’re looking for a safe and respectful place to stay. You’ll also have a chance to meet some local communities, and if you’d like, I can show you the work we’re doing with the children. I value openness, kindness, and human dignity, No-matter who you are or where you come from. I believe in creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected. Am a Humanitarian, Director and founder at Salvation 4 all Charity organization (www.salvation4all.org) in uganda. It's a Non-profit organization that support volunerable and orphaned children hence expanding the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ in uganda and the neighborhoods. Respect and Communication: Mutual respect is the foundation of a harmonious stay. Let's communicate openly, address any concerns, and ensure a friendly atmosphere throughout your visit. I hate it when my guests feel like strangers while at my place. This is your second home. Feel free same as your parents' home 2. Check-In/Check-Out: Please provide your expected arrival and departure times in advance. If your plans change, kindly let me know. Check-in and check-out times can be flexible with prior arrangements. 3. Shoes Off, Comfort On: To keep the space clean and cozy, kindly remove your shoes upon entering. Complimentary indoor slippers are available for your comfort. 4. I have a car that can freely move you in places you can't walk in case the distance is not walkable in order to explore Our community and enjoy your trip in time as longer as you can only put in gas equivalent to the distance moved . 5. Cleanliness: Let's maintain a tidy space together. Please clean up after yourself in common areas and your sleeping quarters. Housekeeping supplies are readily available. Also, please also wash your clothes. The washing machine is free for everyone to use. 6. Guests: If you'd like to invite friends or fellow travelers over, please let me know in advance. For everyone's safety, unregistered guests are not allowed to stay overnight unless informed early enough. 7. Shared Spaces: Enjoy the common areas, but remember to leave them as you found them. Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after cooking and eating. 8. Smoking and Substances: Smoking and using illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside the house and around the compound . If you need to smoke, please move outside the gate or during your walk around. I don't allow this to try keep my image as servant of God as am known in the community . 9. Security: For the security of all residents, make sure the main entrance is locked when entering or leaving the premises. Keep your personal belongings secure, and let's ensure a safe environment together. I give you your keys to enable you to access the apartment easily. 10. Responsible Resource Use: Let's be mindful of our impact on the environment. Turn off lights, electronics, and faucets when not in use. Conserve water and electricity as much as possible. 11. Allergies and Dietary Preferences: If you have any allergies or specific dietary preferences, please let me know in advance so I can accommodate your needs. 12. Emergency Contact: Keep me informed about your whereabouts, especially if you're exploring the city late at night. It's important that I reach you in case of an emergency. 13. Feedback and Suggestions: Your feedback is invaluable for improving the hosting experience. Feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions with me during your stay or afterward. 14.
