I'm living in a nice and colourful apartment in Roermond, in the south of the Netherlands, which is a nice and cosy town. In the surroundings you find a national park and lakes. If you like it I can show you my town, which is a bishop city with several nice churches and a cathedral. In Roermond you find many lovely terraces to have a drink together. In the Designer Outlet Center you can have a lot of shoppingfun. I have two bikes, so we can bike together and I'll show you the town or the surroundings, sitting next to the water, or make a walk in the forest. I have a piano, maybe you like it to play... But what I like the most: to hear about you, about your life, about your trip, about your country, your culture, and alot of others... And also have fun together...
2026: Currently traveling through South East Asia in July, August, September, open end. I'm very spontaneous and adventurous - always in for a trip to somewhere! I like to be in nature a lot, hiking and camping. I'm a calm and curious person who always likes to get to know new people and have conversations :) I’ve been traveling since 2022, with occasional stops at home to see friends and family. My first trip went through Spain to Morocco and along the coast of Portugal. The next one took me from Germany through the Balkans all the way to Turkey. I’ve collected many stories along the way, discovered amazing places, met great people, and found some of my deepest friendships through couchsurfing. I’m curious about your travel stories, plans, and ideas. My next big trips will hopefully take me to Southeast Asia and Latin America :) I would like to try all the different ways of traveling. Hitchhiking together. I did wildcamping some times, would be cool to do different trips with a group of travelers, camping together, renting a van or try Bikepacking! A dream would be to join a sailing crew to go boat hitchhiking :D I mostly travel without plane and I want to experience the journey, distances and everything in between. Besides calm things like some talking together, walking through the area, having a drink together, I'm also always in for swimming, hiking, all kind of watersports and outdoor activities. If there is a host, it would be nice for me to stay but I also like just to meet, get to know each other and exchange stories If someone likes to join a part of traveling - let's go together, you're welcome!
I am Anna and come from the beautiful imperial city of Aachen. A real "Öscher Mädel" I am not, because I come from the beautiful Lower Rhine from the village Brüggen-Bracht. My husband and I are the can openers, cuddle bears, and sleepers of our dear cat Fluffy. Currently, I live and work in Addis Ababa.
My goal in the near future is to visit many new countries and cultures. I realized time flies so fast and we have to take everything for granted. Still many ones to visit and this is on my thoughts at the moment. Besides that I live on my own in Venlo for quite some time now. Grew up in a village in this region so I am a local one. I like going out and having a good time with friends or meet new people. Social connection is so important. Now more then ever it is very important to me to think different and stay united with and to one another ✨
