I share my profile with my boyfriend ! We live in Chambéry, France. In our free time, we usually meet friends and family, hike in the moutains and forests surrounding us, read books, go to cinema or to theater, ride bycicles, eat nice meals, tell stories and laught a lot, fly (Eliott is a pilot), create things with our hands (music, food, furniture, drawing, painting, tapestry…) We also commit into associations. We do love bicycle. We use it in everyday life and it’s one of our favourite ways of travelling. Something we love even more when we travel or discover a place, is spending time with people, share experiences, food (again !!), stories, learn new skills and new languages. Meet new friends !!

En Francia me dedico a la agricultura orgánica. Es un tema que me apasiona. Por eso hago voluntariados en fincas para compartir experiencias. Soy una persona tranquila. Me gusta platicar, reir, cocinar, compartir comidas y aprender de otros países y otras culturas. Si estás disponible para salir a visitar o comer algo fuera, sería con mucho gusto. Hi everyone ! I’m Ariane, I'm living in Chambéry (French Alps, near Switzerland). I had the chance to travel and even work abroad, and it each time was full of surprises from meeting a dynamic new people or feeling serenity immediately in beautiful nature. I started using Couchsurfing during my trip in South Korea, and I had the chance to met beautiful souls and learn about the culture et the history through the eye of natives. It's a truly a memorable experience for me and now I wish give back all that sympathy to travelers who came around. Even if my city isn't the number one touristic spot, I will make sure to help create memories. In my free time I like to do sports (hiking, skiing, cycling, fencing), photography, discover architecture and design or hang out with people and explore where they live. I'm studying in Bourget Du Lac. I took 2 gap years after high school to gain some money and to travel to South America ! I was there during 5 months and then I sailed my way to the Bahamas from Colombia to then cross the Atlantic to get back to Europe ! It was an epic journey and I loved it. Now I'm focusing on my studies and I've put the travel part aside a little bit more. I don't know if I could welcome any guests (send me a text you will see haha). I like hiking, cycling, basketball and running. For now I don't really know the surroundings but maybe we can explore it together !!

I was born in Paris, but I grew up constantly moving: two years in Madagascar, one year in Mayotte, then ten years in Madrid. My parents passed on to me their passion for traveling, and my first memories of Asia are family trips to Thailand at age 8, and later Malaysia. These early adventures shaped my love for discovering new cultures. Now I live in Chambéry, in the French Alps, where nature and mountains are part of my everyday life. 🐾 What I Do I work as a night-shift emergency veterinarian. It’s intense, unpredictable, and deeply rewarding. It taught me to stay calm, adapt quickly, and find beauty and humor even in chaos. It also gifted me a special superpower: I can fall asleep absolutely anywhere. A true survival skill for travelers. ✈️ My Current Trip I’m traveling solo for 4 months across Southeast Asia. My goal is to step completely out of my comfort zone: not understanding the language, learning new alphabets, getting lost, observing, learning, connecting with people and culture. Last year I visited Hong Kong — my first big skyscraper city traveled alone — and it was a huge surprise and instant crush. A giant, vibrant city surrounded by mountains and greenery.
