Not only was this my first LONG bike touring trip, but overall it was incredibly meaningful to me because of my goal to honour the promise I made my dad. I have no doubt that he gave me the travel bug, and for that I am forever grateful. I live and work in Kamloops BC, and spend my weekends at the Yurt on the lake. I would love to share my beautiful spot with travellers and backpackers alike. It's as close to paradise as I've found and I love it so much. I have taken lots of ideas from my travels, and implemented them back here at home. I try to live as organically as possible, produce as little waste as possible and just live simply, the beach fires at night and the stars are all I need. I really enjoy doing energy exchanges! I was a WWOOFER on Kauai for two years, and I continue to do exchanges back here in Canada. I really love to trade and share with people, and it makes us all a little closer. Just looking to open my land and share my spot with some travellers! In short, I consider myself a man of the world. I am happiest when I am immersed in other cultures, most intrigued when learning other languages, and absolutely thrilled when I am meeting new people. I have a formal education, but nothing has prepared me more for life then my travels. PHILOSOPHY Share and exchange

Hiiiiiii, I'm a 25 year old who's been on and off solo travelling since I was 19. I went to art school and worked in many different fields to learn as many different things as possible and I LOVE meeting people. I’ve had an account for years but had very few Couchsurfing experiences so far, but I’m excited about getting into it way more now:) And I can’t wait to have my own place to be able to host all of you, too!!!
