There are too many books to name, but among my top 5 are (in no particular order) 1. "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoyevsky 2. "The Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss (if you haven't read that one yet, do yourself a favor) 3. "Human, All too Human" by Friedrich Nietzsche. 4. "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway 5. "Harry Potter" by J.K. Rowling Music- I can't even. I usually stay away from top 40 cause I'm just a hipster like that, I guess (unless it's Katy Perry. I love Katy Perry. It's a guilty pleasure.) and I don't care for country or a ton of hip hop. I do love; Punk rock Classical Bluegrass/Folk Electronic/House Prog Rock Post Rock Some kinds of Metal Shoegaze Indie rock And so much more that doesn't fit a specific genre that I can name.

People who host are just about the coolest people I can think of. To help hosts out as a surfer, I can offer help with cooking/cleaning, hopefully a good conversation and good company, exchange information and stories about home, travels, and culture.
