HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I've hosted a few people here in Melbourne, including one guest who ended up staying for a few months! I surfed a few couches in the US and Latin America on my last trip. Saving money from using Couch Surfing is a bonus, but when I travel I budget for accomodation anyway. If I ask to surf your couch its because I like what I've read in your profile and think we'll get along. I dont just send bulk messages out - I find its easier to just book a hostel than do that.
