I am a 66 year old woman who is used to hanging out with people of all ages. I enjoy doing personal growth work and attending workshops. The ones that I have found the most useful have been the workshops done by the Human Awareness Institute (HAI), Nonviolent Communication workshops and Network for a New Culture. I am retired from a career teaching at a community college and now am involved in my community in many different ways. And from time to time I deliver workshops on nonviolent communication. Retirement has not been boring so far.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I have some room to spare and enjoy sharing. I like the concept of a gift society and I see couchsurfing as a perfect example of that. When I travel, I like to meet local people and experience places as the locals do. Couchsurfing gives me that opportunity. I've had some lovely experiences of having interesting people stay with me and of staying with interesting people. Sometimes we really connect and sometimes we just pass each other by. Both are okay with me.
Mis intereses
Usually my traveling is related to attending some kind of workshop and then maybe staying longer to see the area. I have stayed at hostels and enjoy getting to meet people from all over the world. I look forward to getting to know people who are willing to open their homes to travelers.
