CURRENT MISSION Starting my own business as a presentation coach ABOUT ME If you can`t stand a smiling & cheering host in the morning go look for another sofa ;). And please note: Noone ever escaped my home 'til after breakfast... Friendly, talkative, curious, quite generous, flexible, tolerant, humorous - I have been told :) Sometimes I`m a little bit crazy... like when signing up in a 2-person category of a 55km canoe marathon all by myself...without prior training... and finishing only 2 minutes before the 12-hour-deadline :) :) :) YESSSSSSS!!!! And I know how to say I`m sorry and not too proud to do it. Peace is not made by countries - but by friendships between people. And it`s wonderful to have friends everywhere in the world! HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Hosting, surfing, and, well... I keep telling people about CS :) I have been interviewed about couchsurfing on public radio - WDR2 - on air on July 20, 2007 COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I hosted a bunch of very nice CSers so far... from one up to ten nights. My own surfing experiences couldn`t have been better :) I also met locals in Tallinn, Gothenburg, Paris and Helsinki for a beer or two or so... and really enjoyed these encounters, too. I`m looking forward to more!

I cannot live without music. And I have enough styles of music at home to scare away everybody!!! ;) - I love WDR-Funkhaus Europa 103.3 Mhz/FM - a world-music radio station. Check www.funkhauseuropa.de It seems I have too little time to read much, lately - which will probably not change now that I am a Couchsurfer.

Cooking for and with nice people is great fun - let us spoil my kitchen! I love public speaking with Toastmasters, listening to music, going to concerts & pubs. Düsseldorf`s Rhine front is a wonderful place to be in summer - join me for a beer or two or so!!! I also love playing board and card games. Regarding my favorite kinds of music: enough variety to scare away anybody if needed..
