great way to get a little bit less touristic experience, to feel welcomed in new places and to get to know - even for a short time - some great people; an opportunity to feel grateful and to help others

books: many-many-many books:) Russian classics- Pasternak, Dostoevsky,Bulgakov some Russian poetry, science-fiction, Jack London stories , the catcher in the rye, Peter Pan, Richard Bach stories, Eric Fromm, Ayn Rand books, Ernest Hemingway (his books touched some very deep strings of my soul)), Shantaram, Pullman "The dark materials" , lots of sci-fi music: depends on the mood basically, but it should sound good- rock, techno,classics, ethnic, etc..
