CURRENT MISSION Love much, laugh often, work hard, give freely, pay promptly and be kind ABOUT ME I am easy going, take people at face value, I love to cook, share dinner with friends and have a laugh. I travelled a lot when I was younger, I love the world... I love the sun but living in Ireland is not conducive to sun worship! :) PHILOSOPHY My children are a huge part of my life, there's not a day goes by that they don't make me laugh. However....I can't wait until the day they leave the nest and I can travel again, they can come if they fancy! Enjoy every day, life flies by...:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We would love to invite people from all over the world to stay and bring different cultures of the world to us! :) We had our first 'surfing experience' 15 years ago...it was fabulous, we haven't looked back. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I had a beautiful au pair who couch surfed. We are just beginning our couch surfing life! Now that we have had a few....we love it!!!!

A Thousand Splendid Suns, The bookseller of Kabul,Asne Seierstad any travel book by Dervla Murphy (the island that dared..v good),Full Tilt, Ireland to India with a bike...superb! Any Atlas, The Angels Game, Carlos Ruiz Zafon. Any Tess Gerritsen. To Kill a Mockingbird, Harper Lee. The Butterfly Mosque, G Willow Wilson. The hundred year old man who climbed out of a window, Jonas Jonasson Movies: Under the Tuscan Sun, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Mission Impossible (all), MamaMia, Men in Black, the Big Bang Theory(tv), anything funny, I like to laugh. Music: I love music, I played violin in a youth orchestra, taught piano at age 11, fiddled with guitar too! So I like lots of types of music...
Una cosa increíble que he hecho
Slept under the stars in South Africa.....Breathtakingly clear sky with hundreds of shooting stars. Same trip, we had lots of extra food, one night we gave it to what we thought were a few homeless women sleeping on the streets... A huge sheet of tarpaulin moved and 100 women and children from the Xhosa tribe stood and sang in unison... Amazing! Still makes hairs stand on back of my neck just thinking about it. What a privilege.
Mis intereses
Reading, walking, swimming, gardening, talking to people...I have been blessed with good friends, I hope to make more. Just looking at an atlas warms my heart!
