I'm a father of three beautiful children who loves to travel and experience this beautiful planet we call home, warts and all. I spend part of my time working in Alaska, where the kids were born, and part of my time visiting them in Spain, where they currently live. I enjoyed being part of this community before the kids arrived on the scene, and look forward to being part of it again now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have camping space in Hope, Alaska in the summer time, and a room in Estepona, Spain in the fall, October - December. I have plenty of information and contacts in both places anytime of the year

Books: Hemingway, Camus, Kundera, Marquez, Nietzsche, Vonnegut, Kerouac, Satre, Heller, anything on history. Movies: too many to list, but "The Big Lebowski" is the greatest of all time. Music: Everything, basically. Alabama Shakes to Alela Diane, The Beatles to Beirut, Calexico to The Coup, Daft Punk to The Decembrists, Run the Jewels to . . .
