It's an opportunity to know more people and locals who can show me around and tell me good stories. Besides being an exchange student, I don't have a permanent job so I cannot afford fancy hotels and paid places to stay in.

I travelled across the United States for 1 month with a backpack. that was in 2019 - 2020 before covid happens. I watched new year's fireworks from the golden gate bridge in San Fransico. I was on an extremely low budget and i stayed with couchsurfing hosts most of the time.
