CURRENT MISSION Planning a Trip! ABOUT ME I am looking to do some traveling in 2009/2010. I am going to be taking some road trips and want to see the rest of the US and Canada. I am a counselor/social worker who works with HIV/AIDS in my local community. I'm an avid fan of anything lighthearted and fun (an odd thing to follow up working with HIV/AIDS *huh?* haha) This world is full of great people and I hope I get to meet a fraction of them! PHILOSOPHY Live, respect and grow. I have learned a lot from other cultures that have helped me better myself as a person. Maine doesn't have a very diverse cross-section of people. That is something that I miss.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I would like to be a host for a while and eventually (when I get time) I would like to spend some time traveling. I would like to be a resource for gay/lesbian travelers. Even if you aren't surfing my couch, please feel free to ask me questions about Maine. I would love to help out. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Not using this website, I have met friends online and met them while traveling. Experiences have been positive. When I traveled to Florida we surfed across the state visiting friends we had met online and seeing the sites. It was one of the best trips I have been on.

You name it! I probably won't be good at it, but I certainly want to try it. I like most outdoors activities (hiking, swimming, nature walks, kayaking) and also love to sit and read/watch TV. I play World of Warcraft, PS3, Wii and Xbox360. If you have an ID on any of those, let me know.
