Hi! I'm Christa, just moved back again into my hometown Leiden. I teach Dutch language and culture at the university. Before I was teaching Dutch in Shanghai, China. I can't say that I am a real traveler, but I do like to go abroad and stay at one place for a long time to get to know the people and the language.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because I am a very social person, I prefer to get to know people than just traveling alone. Couchsurfing makes it easier to get to know people. I have been a member for many years, but haven't found a chance yet to use couchsurfing myself. But with my former housemate Jitske, we have had a few Couchsurfers, Warmshower-travelers and foreign friends staying at our home (check her account for references). It was really great to have them in our house!
